To understand Vaastu all one needs is a little knowledge about Astronomy. We know that our earth, while moving around the sun, continues to spin on its own axis with a tilt of 23.5°.While spinning, the earth moves from West to East, that’s why we see sunrise from East & Sunset in West.

second{The angular speed of Earth’s rotation is approx:1,674.4 kilometres per hour (1,040.4 mph)}

Vaastu Shastra (Science of Architecture) lays great emphasis on the signification of Geographical directions. There are four principal directions North, South, East, West and four cardinal sub directions North-East, South-East, South-West, North-West. The Earth is encircled with energy lines, both horizontally and vertically, thus creating energy grid. Direction is enriched with the confluence of this energy pool with the magnetic and subtler energy currents of the earth. Modern scientists are well aware of the vital role of the heat, light and enormous kinds of energy radiations sent by the Sun on the earth. These are the determinants of the atmospheric and other changes, energy balances and natural phenomena on the earth. Vaastu Shastra thoroughly take into account these interconnected effects together with the geological and geophysical aspects.

Nowadays, the engineering authorities & architects decide the layout plans, with cognizance of neither the magnetic fields nor the wind direction or the water tables but purely based on commercial instincts, resulting in sufferings & sickness of the people therein.

When we properly align our environment with Vastu, balance occurs. Once this balance is created, stress is reduced and the frustrations and limitations in life diminish.

Conditions can’t affect a direction but the directions do influence on conditions.
