As we come closer to the end of 2016, SPF enters a period of reflection over the occurrences over the year. Fortunately, despite being a difficult year for the industry, SPF can come out with its head held high as once again strenuous planning, a strong work ethic, and a delivery of promises has led to recognition from several high profile organizations through awards and accolades.
In the past, SPF has received accolades from the Arabian Property Awards for highly commended real estate agency and website, and best marketing practices, and for the 6th consecutive year, SPF has once again been recognized by the Arabian Property Awards for a highly commended website. Our easy to use website, www.spfrealty.com, has received recognition due to a showcasing of a wide range of properties and projects, community based microsites which provide community information, dedicated pages for agents which showcase their specific properties in their area of specialty and a plethora of other elements such as a locate on map feature and virtual tours for selected properties.
This year, SPF took part in the Gulf Captial SME Awards, organized by Meed in the UK, entering in several categories such as the best social media strategy, marketing plan, business leader and people & culture. After a string of presentations to a panel of certified experts, including the House of Commons, SPF managed to be a finalist is all 4 categories, eventually winning the social media campaign of the year award. The recognition was received due to its exceptional customer engagement over platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Individual recognition also played a big part of SPF’s success in 2016. Both directors, Mr. Ranjeet Chavan and Mr. Kalpesh Sampat, were featured in Forbes top 100 executives in the Middles East at number 91 and 92 respectively. Forbes in one of the most prestigious and well renowned organizations in the world and the criteria to be included in the top 100 executives in the Middle East is extremely stringent as one would expect. The leadership qualities exuded by both directors in this challenging year has been recognized and rewarded once again this year.
SPF is also proud to be a part of the Dubai 100 SME for the second time in the company’s history. Not only is SPF in the top 25 companies on the list, but it is also the sole representative of the real estate industry in Dubai amongst all top 100 SME’s. SPF has worked tirelessly to achieve its ranking in the Dubai 100 SME and will continue to do so to retain its position.
In addition to the awards mentioned above, SPF was also handpicked by the Employer Branding Awards to receive an award for the best Human Resources Development and Training. SPF has always prided itself on not only keeping afloat on industry trends as they tend to swing quite suddenly in this industry, but also on keeping its employees up to date with them as well. Training and information sessions are held regularly in order to keep the sales agents on their toes at all times.
Since the inception of SPF in 2006, each year has brought on new challenges and opportunities and every year SPF continues to learn and grow. We are grateful for all the recognition we have received as it motivates us to work harder and grow faster. Looking back over 2016, we can confidently say that forward steps have been taken and we are looking forward to new opportunities in 2017.
